As a start-up company with an innovative and adventurous business plan, Propapedia approached Eyekiller with the challenge of developing a website which would create an immediate and long lasting impact in the UK and Ireland property markets.
Eyekiller recognised that the prospect of self-selling would be daunting for many potential subscribers, despite the significant financial saving it could present. To counter this, the design team focused on creating a warm, relaxed and friendly company brand which included the company’s character “Herby”. The aim was to build the user’s confidence and develop a sense of trust which, combined with short, concise blocks of text, demonstrates how simple self selling can be. The completed site offers sellers complete control of their property listing which they can edit or remove at any time. The option of “bolt-ons” allows sellers to choose from a range of enhancements to raise their properties' exposure, including a customised For Sale board or additional image placeholders.
The website opens a direct line of communication between the seller and the prospective buyer, offering ever greater transparency through secure private messaging and instant property update alerts for the homes the buyer is following.
The Eyekiller team have been informative, friendly and reassuring throughout and have always been positive and open to suggestions for improvements to the website development. This was a difficult and challenging project made enjoyable and stress-free by Eyekiller.
